Not-for-profit Art Space (CIC)
2008 - 2014
I was the co-director/owner of a Community Interest Company and not-for-profit Art Space. I curated exhibitions and ran creative workshops.
Business as unusual.
The Art Space hosted weekly and bi-monthly exhibitions for free (with a suggested donation of £25 per week to cover running costs including insurance and marketing).
The Art Space also hosted film nights, debuting films by local film-makers; gigs for local musicians; art and music clubs (including life-drawing and sewing and baking workshops).
The website has sadly deceased.
